🎄 The Story Behind Our Christmas Collection: A Designer’s Eye for Holiday Magic

Every Christmas collection starts with the same thought:
“What would I love to see in my own home? What designs would make me smile?”

Unlike many bakeries that begin with recipes or flavor pairings, our process at Macaron Centrale begins with something different — design. Before a shell is piped or a flavor is chosen, the first spark always comes from the eye of a designer.

Before macarons, I designed clothing.
I learned how color behaves, how patterns work together, how texture, light, and spacing can change how something feels. Whether it’s fabric on a runway or a macaron on a holiday table, design is design.
And that instinct shapes every macaron in our Christmas collection.

✨ It starts with:

  • What looks balanced?
  • What feels festive without being overwhelming?
  • What colors tell the story of winter warmth?
  • What motif belongs on a tiny circle canvas only 1.9 inches wide?

And most importantly:
What would I be proud to give as a gift?

🎁 Each design is chosen because it’s one I personally love.

Not because it’s trending.
Not because it might sell.
But because it looks right — elegant, joyful, and festive.

That’s why our Christmas collection feels cohesive.
Every wreath, ornament, bow, snowflake, penguin, or winter pattern goes through the same process a fashion collection would:
Does it speak the same language? Does it belong in the same story?

🌟 A designer’s approach to macarons

Designing desserts is strangely similar to designing clothing:

  • Colors must complement, not clash.
  • Patterns must be crisp and intentional.
  • Everything should feel harmonious as a whole.

When you place 12, 24, or 36 macarons from our Christmas line together, they shouldn’t feel random. They should feel curated — the way an experienced designer pulls together a collection for a runway.

🎄 That’s the story

There’s no complicated origin — just a designer who loves beautiful things and wants holiday desserts to feel as magical as the season itself.

And that’s why this year’s Christmas collection looks the way it does.
Because I made designs that I would love, and I trust that beauty speaks to others too.
